Our Chosen Charity
Rockyventures founder Brian Hall, believes that that supporting and helping others is a fundamental part of being decent humans, and is something we should all take great pride and enjoyment in doing.
Since before Rockyventures was even an idea, Brian has supported Brighter Futures which is a charity based in the Great Western Hospital in Brian's home town of Swindon. After having gone through numerous medical procedures and operations himself, he does what he can to support the Brighter Futures Charity, whether it's from doing a crazy, long charity run, setting up and coordinating charity abseils or indoor climbing events, Brian's does what he enjoys and turns it in to ways to raise funds for Brighter Futures.
Brian's charity abseils alone have raised roughly £45,000 alone

The Indoor 7 Summits Series
The Indoor 7 Summits Challenge is a community based fundraising challenge, split in to 7 progressive stages.
The aim is to climb collectively as a community, reaching the height of a specific mountain. In this challenge we're going to do this over 7 rounds as part of a series, with each round progressively harder as the height aimed for will be equal to one of the 7 Summits.
For those who've not heard of the "Real" 7 Summits Challenge before, it involves climbing to the top of the highest mountain on each continent around the world.
In our Challenge, will will be climbing on a climbing wall (Rockstar Climbing in Swindon). The rounds will be spread through out the year, roughly every 6 or 7 weeks, where we'll aim to reach the height of next highest mountain until we reach the 7 round.... The 7 Mountain..... MT EVEREST !
So why are we doing this?
- To bring our amazing Climbing community together and take on an epic Challenge.
- The event will help raise money for Rockyventures chosen charity "Brighter Futures" based at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon and help fund and support their amazing project.
- Hopefully get lots of climbs in and have fun doing it.
