Rockyventures is a registered and approved provider of the National Navigation Award Scheme, providing the Bronze and Silver and Night Owl Awards. In additional we also offer a range of bespoke courses and workshops for individuals groups and teams.
The National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) is a personal performance, non-competitive, incentive scheme for all ages to learn navigation skills and gain confidence to get out and enjoy the countryside. NNAS courses are delivered throughout the country by over 300 approved providers.
Our National Navigation Award Scheme courses are run throughout the year, although primarily run within the north Wiltshire area, we can deliver these courses throughout the UK.
The NNAS courses a structured in a way, that enable you to learn through practical training and learning. All courses are ran over two day period, although there is options to for us to set up a bespoke course for you or your group.

Why map reading is important
Good navigation and map reading skills are essential for all those who either work outside or enjoy the outdoors for fun and recreation. Enabling you to plane safe, efficient and rewarding journeys. Find those perfect places no one else can or enable you to direct help to your location in an emergency.
A good level of understanding and practical navigation skills will not only make all the difference, but can literally save lives!
