Map Reading and Navigation
Rockyventures Ltd has been a provider of the National Navigation Award Scheme Courses for over 12 years and in that time have trained and assessed many candidates to a high standard in map reading and navigation.
These courses are nationally recognised and used by many organisations such as Search and Rescue, Education Authorities, Mountain Training UK, Scout proups and Cadet Forces and many more, to demonstrate competence of their team members.

Map Reading Introduction
This is a 5 hour map reading workshop, set in the ancient woodland known as westwoods near Marlborough (North Wiltshire).
The workshop covers the basics and will give you the skills and understanding to use the map in order to plan basic routes and to navigate along them
